Bulletproof

These are amazingly dense and correspondingly heavy. However, I suspect that these will be around longer than the treated lumber that they are installed on. They have a very nice embossed wood grain texture and look that also serves as a slip-resistant finish. I chose the solid planks because I was building stairs and needed the solid edge instead of the hidden fasteners on the stair treads. Beautiful, Strong, and Long Lasting!

Built my back deck with the entire Trex Transcend Composite Deck Boards! It looks beautiful and the best part is the hidden hardware. There are no nail/screw holes showing because the hardware fits within the grooves! I can also put full faith in the longevity of the deck because I know the composite material wont rot! Would buy again and I recommend it to anyone else who wants a high quality deck!

Fits the bill

Used for porch step treads and the Trex is the thing for this application. Winter will give a greater perspective but, I am not worried that these boards will be less than I anticipate.

Solid product

I installed this as a perimeter around a different style of Trex so that Cortex hidden fasteners could be used to secure it in place. It as a natural wood texture and deep, rich color. I would definitely recommend this line of Trex decking.

Feels Tough, Dark Color

This deck board is really sturdy!

They advertise fade and stain resistance for 25 years. This is a high performance composite. It will make a beautiful deck!

Another Durable Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a very durable board. It doesn't scratch easily, nor splinter easily either. It's a very dense quality. Appears to have a good UV coating. Very heavy weight per foot. I believe that you'd have to have a very sturdy frame to accommodate this material.

Lava rock board sample

Lava Rock is a gorgeous deep brown with darker color variations and a natural looking grain. This product is pricey, but well worth the investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sample to test. This product is awesome. I can only imagine how beautiful it would look on an entire deck. The product is very sturdy and would probably last for years. It is looks just like wood grain. It is heavyweight. The tongue and groove assembly will make it very easy to install. The lava rock color is a realistic dark espresso wood stain color. Definitely a great option for a maintenance-free deck!!
