What Customers Are Saying

The Trex Transcend composite decking is described as a high-quality and durable product with an attractive wood-like appearance and color options. Customers praised its sturdiness, resistance to scratches, fading, and weathering, making it a low-maintenance and long-lasting choice. However, some reported issues with inconsistent coloration, occasional warping or damage, and concerns about the high price point. Overall, the majority of reviews indicate the decking can provide an attractive, durable, and low-maintenance solution for outdoor living spaces.

Good solid decking

 Would Recommend

Color match to Armadillo decking was very close. It's hard as a rock. Even self-drilling deck screws had trouble penetrating, so I drilled pilot holes. Worked perfectly.

Shrinkflation Strikes Again

 Would Recommend

Trex is a good product, but apparently the size has changed over the years. We build our deck in 2017 with Trex Transcend Spiced Rum boards, and there was one edge that I wasn't happy with. Finally decided to replace it and guess what? The new trim boards are about 1/2 narrower than they used to be.
