Ratings & Reviews for Trex Select 2-in x 6-in x 16-ft Saddle Square Composite Deck Board

But, I guess you get what you pay for. Building a good size deck out of composite materials results in a beautiful long term solution to deck maintenance. But take the time to assemble an accurate material list and cost estimate. It is shockingly expensive. 4-5 times that of a treated lumber deck. At least. But the high end colors and the number can jump 40% over that.

Trex Select Woodland Brown

We redid our deck with Trex Select decking. Our deck looks amazing and the decking was very easy to use and is maintenance free.

Decking

Purchased a log house with a wood deck that had holes and needed to be replaced i was able to talk to lowes with the measurments and they helped me order the right pieces. The trex boards are amazing. The color blends nicely witht he log house and is so easy to install.

Great

Great product and wonderful color. Exactly what I was looking for.

Trex

They are nice and thick and solid. I will be using them for deck steps and will feel secure.

Hard as wood but so much nicer...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Husband and sons love the color and feel. But this mom loves the easy cleaning. Best deck material we have ever had.

Durable and easy to care for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Trex Saddle Deck Board is durable and easy to care for. While it has the appearance of wood it does not require the staining and upkeep that wood decks do.

Very dingy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color was dull and had a white spot on it. If all the units look like this, I definitely would not be interested in building a deck from this material.

never going back to wood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this product is one the best decking materials out there. this decking does not fade. it is easy to maintain. we only power wash it once a year and that is all that is required to keep it looking new. we have had no stains on it that could nto be removed. lots of color options. looks great. the only downside would be that at times it can be very hot to walk on when out in the summer heat. no splinters! worth the extra money to save...

Nice looking sample

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of Saddle Deck Board to look at. I liked the color and the sample looked sturdy and it would last a long time. When it's time to do my deck, I will be checking out this product for my home.

Durable Yet Smooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Saddle Deck Board Sample that I tried was a nice durable board. It was smooth with no splintering. I placed it on the ground and stood on it, and it was a strong board. I was also able to wipe it clean of any foot marks very easily. When I am ready to put my deck up I will definitely be using the Saddle Deck Boards.

Blown away!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the color goes all the wat through, so even if it should get scuffed it won't show. Second, this is no flimsy piece of composite, I can't forsee any bowing occuring with this flooring. A quality product, I will be looking into installation of this flooring!

Saddle Deck is Nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried a sample of the Saddle Deck Board and it is very nice. I love the feel and texture of it, and unlike wood it won't splinter & fade. They have many color choices available, and they pieces are interlocking for a great tight fit for your new deck, etc.... I think the material is lightweight, and sturdy which will make for a great outdoor deck in my opinion. I like this Saddle Deck Board & will be using it to build our deck. I...
