Ratings & Reviews for Trex 4-in x 4-in Classic White Composite Deck post base trim
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the product for its polished, professional appearance and seamless integration with deck posts, with many highlighting the clean finished look and perfect color match. Installation is consistently noted as easy and convenient, especially for retrofits. However, some customers report that the two-piece snap design creates a visible seam, and several note sizing inconsistencies with standard 4x4 posts. A few mention the plastic material feels less premium than expected. Despite these concerns, most customers consider it an excellent finishing touch that enhances overall deck aesthetics.

Fits Well
Would RecommendI was worried a bit about the look of the seam because they are 2 pieces. But, they fit together well. I suppose it makes it so they could be used on an existing post.
