Gutless

I live in Oregon in an RV park with a small lawn. The 2 mature maple trees drop big leaves & heavy seed pods. I have a 24V, 110 CFM, & 180 MPH Kobalt mini blower that has more power to remove wet/dry leaves &/or seed pods. The Toro can make the pods wiggle in place, but that's it. It sucks!

Dissapointing at Best

I purchased this to replace the exact same model which I have used for 5 plus years. The old one siezed up but given how much use it had I was very happy with it. The new one looks the same but something has changed. The sound level for starters is seriously higher (double I would judge) which is barely tolerable but the worst part is the anemic amount of air volume. Yes air exits the end at a high speed but the volume is so low that it will barely push a leaf a few feet away. That coupled ...

Complete Garbage

Two of them got me 2 hours of use. These are garbage. You shut it off and it will never turn on again.

This was delivered to wrong house, fortunately I recognized the picture that was included., it was delivered to my neighbors house instead of mine… so I’m lowering my rating..

Posted a one star review on Jan. 21, 2026 pointing out the failure of the blower AND the worthless Toro warranty. Apparently Toro's computer didn't read the actual review because it replied that Toro has a 2 year warranty, and if I used it, I would undoubtedly have a 5 star experience. WOW!!

Love the vacuum feature

Nice and strong for blowing leaves. My favorite feature is being able to vacuum up leaves in the corner of the yard and patio. This is my second one the first one accidentally got wet. I had used it so much. I bought another one.

Upgrades in an old reliable model

Finally had to replace a 15+ year old version of this same “rake and vac”. The impeller on the old one was plastic and would not fully mulch some items. This model has a metal impeller and brings everything to a much finer material. This is a significant improvement in performance. This unit also has an “infinite” adjustable speed instead of two set speed selections. This also is a nice improvement. This unit works well and seems even better made than my 15+ year old unit.

Motor failed; worthless warranty

After about 1 hour of normal use, motor died and left burning odor. Lowe's said take it to an authorized Toro dealer for warranty service. Dealer said I didn't buy from them, so it's Lowe's issue. Checked Toro website which also said take equipment to an authorized Toro dealer. Took it to a 2nd listed dealer who said they were not a Toro dealer, but referred me to a 3rd company. That company said they could check it out, but if they determined that it was not a manufacturing defect, I would have...

Excellent leaf mulching.

I didn’t buy it for blowing the leaves. Primarily for vacuuming them. And It has been excellent at vacuuming and mulching all the leaves we have piled up from last Fall. It really does a great job! Chops them up nicely.
