Would RecommendReasonable price for a high quality product. Online purchasing with locker pickup is SO convenient.
These shims don’t split.
These shims don’t split or compress like the wooden ones do. They make insulation of framed doors much easier.

Not at all what is in the picture nor the brand.
Would Not RecommendI actually wanted the ones in the picture. I like those much better than the ones they delivered. The ones in the picture are brown with holes and Nelson brand, what they delivered were black with v-groove channels, and Timberwolf brand. I like to get what I ordered, or at least let me approve a substitution.

These worked great!
Would RecommendI needed to balance a concrete water fountain and these were perfect! I don't have to worry about them rotting and they were easy to break to the length I needed.

Great shims that won't shrink or rot
Would Recommendwell built shims
Would RecommendComposite material is great for use outdoors as it will not rot like wood. I needed some shims to correct the angle on my mailbox after a neighbor wiped it out with a car and it needed to be reset and bent back into shape. I could only get it close, so shimming was necessary. These were great and after tightening the new screws into position, my mailbox is back in business. Surely the mailman will also appreciate the precision levelness when inserting letters and small packages.

Worst shims I've used
Would Not RecommendLike other reviewers, I found these shims to be VERY hard to snaps -- so bad, in fact, that I spent more time scoring/prying/chiseling these shims flat than leveling and securing my door. Won't use again.
Good for wet areas shims.
Would RecommendI like that these shims are plastic and can be used is areas that can get wet.

Expensive but possible worth it in some situations
Would RecommendBefore these I have only used the cheap wood packs. These are great for having some strength and easy to break shorter with your hands.
Stability when needed
Would RecommendThey're plastic and do not give once set. This is good for doors and windows in my opinion.
Perfect for leveling my Blackstone
Would RecommendI used these to level out my blackstone so the grease flows toward the grease pan.
