What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this cedar mulch for its natural pest-repelling properties, with many citing aromatic cedar oils that effectively deter bugs, ticks, and insects without chemicals. The finely shredded texture is easy to spread, retains moisture, and stays in place after rain. Reviewers appreciate the rich natural color and authentic appearance compared to dyed alternatives. Most find it an excellent value for the price and express loyalty, planning to repurchase. While a few note faint cedar scent or occasional debris, the vast majority consider it a reliable, effective garden solution.

Natural and Great Color
Would RecommendGreat natural mulch with no dyes. It's cedar and very slow to breakdown. I still had quite a bit left in my garden beds from last year.

Color Inconsistent
Would Not RecommendHalf the yard looks completely different in color and texture. Purchased multiple bags from the same store so I thought it would dry the same, but half the yard is golden the other brown. Completely ruined the look of the garden. NEVER again.

Bug Deterrent
Would RecommendI like that cedar mulch helps keep insects away due to its aromatic oils. This is a bonus feature added to beautifying my plantings, weed control, and less watering.

Fresh cut cedar
I love the fact that the mulch is fresh. I bought the same exact brand from a different retailer and it was brown and looked old. I like the smell of fresh cedar and that it repels ticks and bugs.
