Ratings & Reviews for Timberline 2 -cu ft All natural Pine bark Pine Bark Mini Nuggets Mulch

What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this pine bark mulch for its natural brown color, durability, and landscaping performance. Most value its ability to stay in place during heavy rain and wind, resist decomposition, and provide a clean, dye-free ground cover that enhances garden aesthetics. Reviewers consistently note it lasts significantly longer than shredded mulch while retaining moisture and suppressing weeds. However, many express frustration that the "mini" pieces are actually large and chunky, not small as labeled. A smaller group reports inconsistent product quality, including debris and sand contamination in some bags, plus thin plastic packaging that tears easily. Despite these concerns, most customers consider it a reliable, attractive landscaping choice.

Would Not RecommendI bought 12 bags. In the first bag I opened, all the pieces were large, some well over 2" X 2" and some long pieces may have been 4 or 5 inches in length. In the next two bags. most were nice "mini" size, but they also included some of the much larger pieces. This is NOT "Mini nuggets," which I have used many times before. I don't know if this is by mistake, or was deliberate, but it really doesn't' matter. I need to be able to buy 20 or 30 bags of mulch sometimes and it all MUST be consistent...
