Ratings & Reviews for Timberline 2 -cu ft All natural Pine bark Pine Bark Mini Nuggets Mulch
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this pine bark mulch for its natural brown color, durability, and landscaping performance. Most value its ability to stay in place during heavy rain and wind, resist decomposition, and provide a clean, dye-free ground cover that enhances garden aesthetics. Reviewers consistently note it lasts significantly longer than shredded mulch while retaining moisture and suppressing weeds. However, many express frustration that the "mini" pieces are actually large and chunky, not small as labeled. A smaller group reports inconsistent product quality, including debris and sand contamination in some bags, plus thin plastic packaging that tears easily. Despite these concerns, most customers consider it a reliable, attractive landscaping choice.

.
Good product until this year. Stuff looks like it was hand shredded. Huge chunks of wood were not what was advertised, nor what I wanted

Is there any quality control?
Would Not Recommendphoto A: Previously I ordered more than 30 of this pine bark nuggets and they are all good, the real pine bark nuggets, Photo B: But this last 8 counts of the same product I ordered the last week are mostly shredded wood, very small portions are real pine barks. I wanted to return the last order but I have already installed it in the garden.

Best price for tree bark for potting mix.
Would RecommendThe size of the nuggets

Overall solid mulch choice
Would RecommendI like the smaller nugget size that is easier to spread. Every once in a while, a bag will have a bigger wood chunk in it, which could be improved upon.
