Best repellant ever!

I bought this little gem in 2017 and now in 2021 it is still going strong. It sits on my front porch so I can enjoy the great outdoors without the mosquitos enjoying me.

DO I NEED TO GET UP AND REPLACE THE MAT 4 HOURS?

Great for Camping

We take these with us every year on our annual camping trip with friends and everyone loves how well they work. I make sure that everyone has one for their tent and they work great and don't smell.

We love Thermacell.

I am a mom of two small children and our family absolutely loves Thermacell products. The lanterns keep our outdoor parties mosquito-free and save me from trying to chase kiddos around with a can of bug spray every few hours. Camping with Thermacell can make you forget mosquitoes even exist. I keep a spare in the car just in case of impromptu outdoor adventures.

The only mosquito repellent that works!

I've been using these lanterns ever since reading an article on boston.com, "The Man Who Loves Mosquitoes" and it was about the inventor of Thermacell lanterns. I have wetlands behind my house and millions of mosquitoes. With two of these lanterns in place, I can enjoy my garden any time of the day or night.

I love my Thermacell... but....

I've had many portable Thermacell products and have been so impressed with how well they repel mosquitoes. My portable unit recently malfunctioned and would no longer stay lit. With a camping trip around the corner I decided to replace it with the lantern. I was so disappointed that the bottom piece that covers the batteries for the LED light falls off at barely a touch. Works good but issues with connecting top & bottom

I bought this due to positive experiences with other Thermacell products. It works as described, however, the upper part comes off VERY easy. It actually came apart twice as I was walking from my shop to my pontoon (about 30 yards). I had to place a piece of gorilla tape to keep it from falling off anymore. There is no better product for your campsite to keep the bugs away and provide an excellent light for table or just sitting. I love my Thermacell Scout Lantern.

Absolutely amazing

Keeps mosquitoes away without having to cover yourself in toxic stinky sprays that don't work and the lantern has 4 mods bright brighter brightest and S.O.S!

i have used this item to set on my back deck and it did so well i bought another for the other side. that covers my whole deck with a dome of protection. these do a very good job.

Adds light without the bugs

Great way to have a little light at night without drawing in the bugs. Multiple brightness settings on the LEDs are a big plus.

Love the light for the table

My wife and I use the lamp all the time since we live in Deep South Texas. It keeps us mosquito free and loving our backyard.

Disappointed

My husband bought this for me because he uses Thermacell hunting and fishing. He brags on his Thermacell to everyone on how great they work. This however did not work on my porch. I followed instructions and waited 30 minutes. When I came outside the mosquitos were swarming all around it. I made him come out and look and he was thoroughly disappointed too. We read the directions on package and sat it on the porch again. Still no change.
