Effective
This is my second Thermacell product because I have seen how effective and useful they are. I periodically charge the battery of my first one and this is year two and it still works beautifully. I bought another one for different areas of my yard.

Works as promised for flying insects
Received this as a Father’s Day gift. Very noticeable difference and kept the flying insects at bay. I use with at our bunkie cabin and very pleased with it so far. One point is the battery never lasted as long as I thought - around 4.5 hours. I will continue to monitor and see if it continues, lowers or raises the battery time and make sure it it fully charged before each use.

Does what I expected it to!
It takes a few minutes to warm up and to permeate the area, but once it does, any mosquitoes that try to come around head off!

Excellent coverage
I have used this on 2 camping trips so far and it seems to work well! My only issue is the battery doesn't seem to last very long. Coverage is good, and it is very portable but seems to die not long after starting up. I understood it would last 6 hours but it definitely doesn't.

I’ve always had good luck with my thermacells. It’s been best to get a couple around and keep them on the ground. I usually start them 30-45 minutes before dusk. I do use citronella candles and tiki lamps at the same time. I really dislike putting bug spray on myself of kids .
