Would RecommendI bought this Thermo Pro thermometer to use on cuts of meat that cook quickly like steaks. The Spike probe is great for smoking ribs but over kill for a steak. The probes bright clear number tell me when my meat is at the desired temperature. Even has a guide on the back to tells what the proper temperature is.

Would RecommendExcellent product that reads quickly. I used it to measure internal temps of a pork butt and a few turkey breasts and in both cases they were perfect when I pulled them off because I had the ability to quickly assess the internal temp of the meats.
