Worst concrete anchor ever
Did not work at all. Used the appropriate drill bit and every time we tried to tighten them the head or body would snap. Ended up using an entirely different concrete anchor.

Don’t screw it up!
Would RecommendTap Con screws worked ok. I broke a few when trying to get them to tighten a little bit tighter. That was disappointing. All in all I got the job done and my basement door is more secure!

Would Not RecommendI have tried tapcon fasteners on a handful of occasions in the past and they have consistently disappointed me. These were no exception. I purchased the screws and the drill bit and followed the instructions. The first three fasteners snapped in the exact same place. Gave up after that. Utter garbage.

Would Not RecommendBought these to attach PT 2x4's to a new concrete pad. Predrilled as required with their drill bit to a depth 1/2" deeper than the length of the screw. The head of every screw snapped off. Total waste of money.
