What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these concrete screws for reliable, strong performance in masonry applications. Reviewers consistently report they hold firmly in concrete, brick, and cinderblock for mounting cameras, speakers, lamps, and vents, eliminating the need for toggle bolts. Many highlight quick, straightforward installation—the screws tap directly into masonry without separate anchors. Some note the included drill bit wears out quickly or arrives dull, recommending a higher-quality bit. A few report issues with improper installation or unsuitable substrates causing failure. Overall, most customers find them dependable and worthwhile for permanent masonry installations.

Blue screws rock
Would RecommendTapcoms are a bust have in the nail buckets. Great for all kinds of applications and beat the heck out of dowels or plugs

Fast and reliable
Would RecommendI’m not real big on Tapcons for stuff that requires exceptional strength but for hangers and such, they work well. They are faster and cheaper than heavier anchors

Broke before tightening
Would Not RecommendBought a set of screws and a Tapcon brand bit. Bit dulled before getting first hole drilled. Bought a bosche bit to finish the holes. First Tapcon bolt broke off on shank. Did not work for me. Will use lead anchors in the future.
Dont buy
Would Not Recommend3 of them broke leaving half of it in the wall not a good quality

Use a bit driver makes the job easier
Would RecommendAs all concrete screws they work great only one time so if you have to unscrew it make sure you have construction adhesive to add to the hole to re-screw

Complete garbage
Would Not RecommendThese screws are garbage and do not work in mortar. I pre-drilled holes in our fireplace mortar and upon putting first screw it broke in half! Tried the second one more carefully screwing manually rather than with a drill; it went in well at first but then became extremely loose and came out of the hole without any efforts. Conclusion, these are not good for mortar applications in fireplace surround. Very disappointed with quality.
