What Customers Are Saying
The drill bits are generally effective for drilling into concrete, brick, and masonry, with many customers reporting the bits are durable and can drill multiple holes. However, some users experienced issues with the bits dulling or bending too quickly, especially when drilling very dense or hard concrete. There were also complaints about the bits not fitting properly in certain drill chucks. Overall, the drill bits seem suitable for most home improvement and construction projects involving concrete, brick, or masonry, but their durability may vary depending on the specific application and material hardness.

Would Not RecommendOnly drilled about 4 holes in brick then got dull and would not work anymore. For the price it should last longer

Better Drill Bit
Would Not RecommendI have tried Bosch masonry bits and they work poorly in concrete when compared to TapCon bits. The flutes on the Bosch bits are finer and don’t clear the concrete dust from the hole causing the bit to overheat, dull, and quickly stop cutting.

Keep it cool.
Would RecommendWe used 2 of these for anchoring treated wood into my basement floor. 1 got hot a little fast and smoothed after like 8 holes. The other though cut over 200 holes without an issue.
Excellent bit
Would RecommendExcellent bit a must if you want to install your tapcon screws correctly with a sds hammer drill
Sturdy bit
Would RecommendThis bit is far more durable than what comes in the box with Tapcon screws. It is also long enough to drill through a 2x and far enough into the concrete in one pass in order to sink a 4 inch tapcon.
Works best with a hammer drill
Would RecommendPerfect bit to accomplish the job. Coundkt have gotten it done without it
Use a Bosch bit, or consider another anchoring sys
Would Not RecommendThe Tapcon drill bit bent while using my sds plus drill. I don't believe I abused this bit. I purchased a Bosch bit afterwards and it worked fine. Since the bit bent, it increased the diameter of the hole and now the Tapcon screw didn't fit tight enough to hold. It was a complete mess. I won't use the Tapcon system again.
Did not stay sharp long
Would Not RecommendAfter drilling the 3rd hole, the bit was very dull
Good for concrete or brick
This bit worked great for drilling into concrete, got the job done and everyone was happy.
Expensive but worth it
Would RecommendVery durable and consistent. These are pricey, but hold up very well for repetitive drilling.
