Would Not RecommendUsually I purchase Bosch masonry bits for driving tapcons, but grabbed this one instead. It doesn’t have a hex shaft so gripping is an issue, and on the 5th drill it broke right at the drill chuck. I have done hundreds of tapcons in my life so it is not user error. Back to Lowe’s, and over in the tool area were the Bosch bits. They last me years, not minutes. I’ll finish the job in the morning.

Would Not RecommendEvery time I need to do this kind of work I relearn the stupidity of this product. The drill bit shank is sized appropriately for a 3/16 screw. The tip on the end of the bit is the same size as the screw so the hole is always bigger than the screw and the screw strips out. Dumb!
