It's thick it's sticky it even smells industrial (lol) I cut off a piece just to get a feel for how strong it is and I was shocked. I have a small puncture in an inflatable kayak that I fully intend to patch with this tape because I have no doubt that it will hold up.

Unfortunately, it's so sticky that I can't set it down on any surface or the sides will get stuck to whatever I set it on. It's also really hard to open/get more tape. Since it's SO sticky, it's hard to pull off the next piece. Especially if you're trying to get a larger piece. It's just difficult to get out. I used it the other day to tape shut part of our screen that my in-laws cat decided to turn into a door...

The fact that it's a heavy duty tape but can still easily be teared by hand is a HUGE plus. I fixed a set of poles on an IKEA castle for my son and put up some soccer flags in his room. This is industrial strength, waterproof, very sticky, and worked for everything I used it for. It’s a little pricier than other brands but to be honest this is amazing quality, I’ve used it around the house, to fix the inside of my shoes, and to tuck for a drag show. Really all purpose! The adhesive is a little strong when you are trying to pull it from the roll but on a project that is need so it's a toss up. The tape is fairly easily cut with a knife so that was a plus!

I've noticed that it doesn't tear off of the roll as easily as other brands, which is probably a pro rather than a con. The other disappointing aspect that I noticed from this tape was that the adhesive on the side of the spool tends to stick to things. Overall, I would recommend this tape if you plan on using it for heavy duty purposes.

Anyways, had a putty knife break, and nothing would hold it. Enter T-rex! A few winds with the tape, and that handle is much better than new! Can't wait for something else to break!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is truly a really great strong tape! So strong, it sticks to itself and you need a good grip and strength to get it off the roll! I do love the color, although not sure it is grey or green (I'm colorblind). The tape tears well and stays put in use. I haven't used it extensively, and will report back as the projects progress.

Was able to fix a broke pipe, used it in my garage to help with a board on the wall as well as used to fix a broken supply shelf in my garage. I'm and blown away. Duck tape better look out! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ShurTech T-Rex Tape is super durable. I can remember as a kid having a wallet made from another brand of similar tape. I took what I remembered and made one for my son. He is in love with it and carries it around everywhere. I have also used this to repair some hoses that have had leaks in it. Love having this around and can't wait to take it camping with me.

I have a cracked faucet head where I was getting sprayed through the crack while washing dishes, and a quick patch job with T-Rex Tape took care of it. No more soaked shirts by the time I'm done!
