Ratings & Reviews for SuperVent 6-in Dia x 36-in L Insulated Double wall Stainless steel Chimney Pipe

Straightforward Installation

I was quite happy with this class A chimney system. It installed rather easily and was very self intuitive in the installation. Basically it was hard to get wrong. No specialty tools were required. I'd have given it 5 stars, but I think the directions could use a bit more explanation because a few things like the storm collar were simply unexplained. Also a few of the pieces had some minor dents in the female connection ends which required a light hammering with a flat surface hammer to get them...

Double wall chimney flue

Great product. They come individually boxed. Wish I had inspected them as 4 out of 4 were dented.

Damaged items

Always open the box and check your items before you leave the store. Purchased two lengths of insulated stove pipe. Upon returning home, found both pieces to have multiple dents, some rather large. Being pressed for time I was forced to use the damaged pieces, as exchanging the items would have meant a 3hr. round trip.

Insulated pipe

The pipe was fine but they didn’t have a through the wall kit. I bought the kit somewhere else and the pipe didn’t fit. Make sure u get both the pipe and through the wall kit from the same place

SuperVent Chimney Pipe

Great product, good price but make sure you open every box to inspect before you purchase. Almost half of the pieces I purchased were scratched, dented, and obviously previously handled. I hope it last 25 years!

All beat up

Every one of the 36 inch pieces were dented and bent when they arrived on my porch. I was not impressed with the packaging. I took some work to get them all to fit together snugly. I have used a different company on two previous occasions without issue. I would not recommend this product.

New chimney installation

Solid, well made. Selkirk makes a couple different brands so make sure you get the right piece so the twist and lock feature fits correctly.

SuperVent 24" x 6" SSIDW Chimney Pipe

It's great as long as it is the piece you are looking for. Must be the correct size and for the application one is looking for.

Great product

Was exactly what I was needing, very safe and durable the last one that I had lasted 12 years.

Great product

Supervent double wall chimney pipe is an excellent product. Very easy connection to other supervent pipe. Be aware this product does NOT fit with metalbest or Selkirk ss 2 pipe.

A well designed and constructed product. This system is easy to assemble and very sturdy when completed.
