Never Write Reviews - BUT - HAD TO THIS TIME

Simply AWESOME. Frankly, I was dubious. I thought it would be enough for very light work. Just took down two trees. Was easy. Was fast. Was so much better than the gas saw I had always used before.

It's a cutting fool

I bought the saw to take care of my apple trees but mother nature had other ideas. We had a bad storm and it split my maple tree close to my house. It has been there sense 1924 and about 8 feet in Dia. Most of the limbs were 10 to 12 inches and as high as 70 ft. We had to trim the part standing before we could drop it. The saw worked with no flaws and had no problem handling the large limbs. The reach we had ment no one had to get to high up on a ladder. Which made it safe for everyone involved....

Love this electric chain saw

I trimmed a ton of limbs, vines and tops of shrubs away from my deck in 45 minutes, stopped twice to check the chain oil and added just a little. This chain saw does not come with oil so be sure to get you a quart of good bar and chain oil after you order saw. Love the ease with usage and effectiveness.

This product is very useful and serves the purpose for which it was intended. I would like to get an additional protective cover for the handle on my other one. It tore during usage and I want to know if you have covers.

Ideal for trimming close limbs.

Good sturdy pole saw, Sun Joe is a great company to deal with. I had a leaf blower for close to a year and when it broke, they sent me s new one and paid for the return shipping. Very pleased with this company and their service.

A Must Have Tool for Tree Limbing

Easiest tool to use for tree limbing that I've used. Standing on the ground, I've cut tree branches to provide 14' vertical clearance over my parking lot to allow clearance to delivery trucks. It worked excellent to limb hard-to-reach branches while pruning and thinning my fruit and ornamental trees. So far, I've only tried cutting branches of maximum 4" thick, and its cut those easily. It did the job

It was easy to assemble and worked well to trim overhead branches about 4 to 6 inches in diameter. So far I have used it only for light duty but overall it worked very well. My only complaint is that the chain oil leaks and drips on the floor when I put it away. As a result it is not easy to store. I used the chain oil that came in the box which appears to be lighter and thinner than other chain oils.

Telescopic Electric Pole Chain Saw

I used it to clear some bushes and small trees on a steep hill, and it worked well. Somehow in the process of using it, the cap on the oil tank came off and was lost. I had to make a cap out of tin foil to keep the oil from running out. The oil cap and the place to screw it on are plastic and would probably be a lot better if they were metal

Long Reach Saw, Make for Easy Trimming

This saw has a very long reach to get up into tight spaces. Small enough to maneuver but powerful enough to handle 90% of branch trimming (no, you're not cutting down trees with it). The only drawback is after about 45 minutes of continuous use, it does start to feel heavy. In that case, I'd recommend taking a break. I like is product a lot, it sure makes limb trimming a bunch easier & safer too.

Only one problem I found is that It cuts too easily. I used some pressure that was not needed and damaged the chain.
