Foam Board (1X4X8 ) = SAVINGS!
I use the foam board at times for holding fiberglass batting in place, as an alternative to insulation hangers, its R-Value and best of all the moisture barrier protection it provides. My heating/cooling costs for renters for 6 years have allowed me save cost and wear and tear on equipment. Caveat: get not less than 2inch button nails, push the button forward prior to hammering and DO NOT PEEL the plastic from either side.

Would RecommendBought product because we got a new air conditioning unit much more powerful than previous a/c unit. More powerful unit louder with air flow. A/C unit in a closet. So I used the "Residential Sheathing R3 Faced Polystyrene Foam Board Insulation with Sound Barrier" basically to insulate the A/C closet. Immediate quieter. Insulation very easy.
