Ratings & Reviews for Style Selections 72-in Brown Southern yellow pine Rectangle Picnic Table

Awful quality

I’m only giving two stars because the assembly was very easy and only took me about an hour and a half, tops. However, the quality of the wood was absolutely atrocious and I spent upwards of 8 hours preparing the lumber to make it halfway decent to use. The wood came moldy with chunks of wood missing in some areas. In other areas it was like someone had sanded what was supposed to be a 90 degree angle down to a curve. The pieces that were pre assembled looked like they were thrown together and ...

Still waiting.

Ordered the picnic table on June 27th. Haven’t received it yet. It’s a wooden picnic table, not exactly a rare item

Table

Sturdy and stable. However, screws were sticking up out of the top of it that I had to pound down, so nobody got hurt. They put the writing side up instead of down so that everybody sees it, and they also used wood that had knotty holes in it. It’s a good sturdy table, but it definitely feel like it could’ve been put together a little better.

Terrible grade lumber

This picnic table is the lowest grade of pine I have ever seen!! The bench boards are warped so bad they won’t even screw down! There’s still bark on the support boards like rough sawn lumber!! I’ve never been so disappointed in my life with something I bought from Lowe’s!! The worst part is that I hauled it almost 500 miles to put in the rv park I’m staying in for a bbq!!

Nice professional driver delivered Huge Lowe’s fan

Frustration with product and Customer Service

I have had great experiences with Lowe’s. This experience has been extremely frustrating. The delivery for the picnic table had to be rescheduled last minute. Then upon arrival, a board was sticking up and upon further investigation, the screws were loose, which caused the bench to fall off. After what took a while to get a hold of a manager, the solution was to pick up the damaged picnic table and replace with a new one. The damaged picnic table was replaced, but a new one did not arrive. After...

Table not straight

We love the table and don't want to go to the headache of bringing it back. But the table is crooked. So look at the table You get very carefully. I wish I had known.

Average table construction and half delivery

Pieces slapped together. A couple boards obviously uneven and could have bee easily fixed with just a bit more care. Also paid for Thompsons water seal in the same order, but for some reason Lowes decided to not deliver that part (but still charge me)
