Ratings & Reviews for STAINMASTER (Sample) 8-in x 8-in Effortless Appeal III Reflection Blue 68.3-oz sq yard High-performance polyester Textured Indoor Carpet

Carpet Samples

Carpet samples were a good size to determine which product we wanted

Decent carpet for the price

Not extremely soft, but the face weight of 68.3 would make do, if you don’t want to pay extra or don’t like the plushness of carpet. Would be good for a child’s room. I also don’t care for the color

Why would anyone get this carpet?

I cannot express my dislike for this carpet enough. If conventional hall hotel vibes are your style, then maybe you’ll like the look, but the feel is rough, abrasive, and CERTAINLY not a good choice for kiddos or families with sensitive skin. Additionally, the subcontractors Lowe’s partnered with for installation arrived two hours late in an unmarked SUV and left dirty handprints on our freshly painted nursery wall. This carpet was selected by our landlord we didn’t have a choice, but if you do...

Great work!

Durable Nylon Carpet

I purchased 3 carpet samples, one of which was “Revitalized” 34.1oz face weight Nylon loop carpet. The color was what we had in mind but the lower face weight combined with cut loop style does not mach up with our needs for this particular room in our house.

Fast shipping easy decision

I wasn’t sure about the carpet just from photos, so I ordered a sample. Glad I did because it helped me make a more confident decision. It came fast and the checkout process was smooth.

Thick carpet.

Plush thick carpet. Available in 15' width.

Don’t buy carpet from Lowes

The carpet is great. The process of getting it installed and the customer service was a nightmare. Several missed days of work over Lowe’s ordering wrong carpet and then the second time they sent it to the wrong warehouse. 3 times it took to get the carpet installed.

This carpet has a nice "feel" to it.

Color fortunately was an exact match to the teeny piece on the sample board. Wish this would have been larger than 8X8"

CHECK YOUR COLOR BEFORE ACCEPTING!!!

This would be a zero if I could rate that low. Shaw sent out the wrong color carpet and had the nerve to say I typed in the wrong color code even though all the emails had the correct color. It was to be installed 3 days before I moved in. I am now moved in, with 2 rooms of only padding. All the furniture is piled in the dining room and other bedroom. Scott at the Topeka store has been very helpful in getting this fixed, but the pain of it is pretty bad.

This could take much longer than Lowes tells you

The first person who came out to do the measuring had no idea what he was doing and wasted an hour and a half doing nothing. Second guy came out a few days later and took about 30 minutes to get it done. We were told this process takes just a few minutes but obviously it didn't. After 3 weeks, we had the crew out to put our carpeting in our basement and they did a great job, except they didn't have enough carpet to finish the steps. They did 3 steps and did the pads for the others but no carpe...

Department was very helpful and worked with us.

Carpet texture and color was perfect. Installation was done perfectly.

Great carpet

We love the thickness of this carpet. It looks and feels fantastic. The color ( subtle clay) is neutral and looks great with all of the paint colors in each room. It’s terrific.
