Ratings & Reviews for Square D 1 -Gang Matte Black Duplex Polycarbonate Midsize Wall Plate

Clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wall plate leaves a clean finished look. It is easy to install and very well made. I just wish they were a bit smaller and didn't take up as much space around the outlet. I suppose if you have a bad drywall job with a too large hole this would be perfect.

Very nice!

Brilliant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Square D has done it! Created a outlet wall plate that is smooth as silk when installed. A smooth flat surface that looks so much better than a standard wall plate. The screw divot is set so that nothing sticks out passed the plate, making cleaning a breeze! Incredibly easy to install and so much nicer than the old run of the mill outlet plates!

Looks great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After installing any outlets, I will always recommend having a plate placed over them. It covers the wires, five a fresh look, and gives you that sense of security. Without the plates, it makes it looks unfinished. It fits easily over the outlets.

Not engineered or packaged as well as others

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Schneider / Square D has been a preferred brand of electric switchgear and other equipment for decades, so it would be expected that their new device line would measure up. As someone who has spent 35+ years in the electrical products sales and installation industry I can say that these outlet plates are not as well engineered, nor packaged as smartly as the competition. 1) The plate, that is not beveled at the edges, is too rigid, and theref...
