WiFi controls on/off on this outlet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty cool home automation gadget from Schneider electric. A standard outlet with a manual on/off switch and wifi control of the outlet from an app you download to your phone. I am somewhat of a home automation geek. This outlet has the advantage of controlling the entire outlet from the app; some automation products only let you control a device plugged into one of the receptacles. Also, it will work with either Alexa or Google Assi...

great smart plug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This outlet can be remotely controlled with Google Assistant or via your phone. I found the pairing and connecting very simple and intuitive. Installation was about the same from other brands, which is to say pretty straight forward. So far it has been reliable and a great addition to our connected smart home.

Easy to install - perfect for Christmas lights

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this outlet as we needed an intelligent outlet to control Christmas lights. The outlet was no harder to install than a traditional outlet. Connecting the smart portion of the outlet was simple due to the included qr code. Total install time was approximately 20 minutes. I will be ordering 2 more for additional needs.

Good plug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was easy to install, no different than a regular receptacle. I like the ease of use. It connected to the wifi very quickly and I had no problems with the app. This is my first wifi plug and I do enjoy it. My plan is to put them throughout the house to sync with my Alexa devices.

Very happy with this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with this outlet. It was installed easily-as expected. It can connect to wi-fi so this is essentially a smart plug. Items plugged in can be turned on or off through your phone. We have installed it in our front hallway and have a lamp that is set to come on and off in the evening hours. It is perfect. I was happy with how well the app and the system works as we have had other wi-fi connected products not work as well. The ...

Looks great but not sure if it works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, the installation was easy enough. However, there is only one terminal screw per side so if the outlet isn't installed at the end of a run, you will have to use the push-in terminals instead of looping the conductor around the terminal screw. Operational-wise, I never got the device to connect with my home W-Fi. Before attempting to provision the unit, I changed the setting of my Wi-Fi network from 5GHz to 2.4GHz. After many attempts, ...

Nice plug in

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I redid one of the plugins in my house with this one and was very pleased with how easy it was to install. I really like the square design, better than the more traditional plugins. I thought it was neat that this one will connect to the wifi and lets you keep track of the energy usage. Neat touch.
