Good breaker, the packaging hides the actual shape

Would Recommend

The case ground clips to a bar in the back of the breaker panel, an improvement over the white wire

Expensive but worthwhile upgrade

These breakers are expensive, and some installers will charge dollar for dollar for labor what the part cost (even though in this case you just snap them in), and you’re gonna need a lot of them so do your math, but if you have an old house with old wiring that does not have a dedicated ground wire, you can use these breakers then change your outlets to three prong, and it will be legal and pass home inspection.

Works as advertised.

The part was to replace a "bad" breaker I had that was tripping often. When I replaced the breaker, my problem went away. The new breaker has not tripped since installed two weeks ago.

Failure rate seems a bit high.

Would Not Recommend

My home of four years has had four of these suckers die. My previous home of 27 years had the old fashioned regular breakers and I think one in 27 was faulty. It seems to me these Arc fault breakers are designed to break. I guess they are keeping us safer but 27 years with the old ones, I never got shocked, there were no fires, and when we rarely tripped one it tripped and then reset. I do not think we have tripped any of the ones that have failed, they just stopped working and failed. Ther...
