I was having a lot of trouble drilling holes in the bottom of my window ac unit to assist with water drainage, I mentioned it to a male friend (I'm female) and the words cutting fluid came up. I had to brush it on the entire diameter, but it seems to be working great. It's definitely not smokeless , even having used it sparingly. But the smoke isn't nearly as bad as cutting oil.
