What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this drill bit for exceptional speed and clean hole quality in wood, with many describing it as a game-changer compared to traditional paddle bits and flat blades. Reviewers highlight its performance through hardwoods like oak and maple, even thick lumber, with minimal effort. Most commend its robust construction and durability across multiple projects. However, some report the bit dulls quickly on abrasive materials, tree stumps, or when hitting nails and knots, with a few noting bending or breaking under demanding conditions. Despite these context-dependent limitations, the majority express strong satisfaction and intent to repurchase.

Would RecommendWas drilling out some 5" deep holes into a slab of hard maple and was having some issues with some other drill bits I had. Once I plugged this one in, start cranking through the wood with no problems. Love that it also a power bit that I can use with my impact driver as well if needed.

Drill bits Stinger brand.
Would RecommendHeavy duty drill bits. Used same for a few years. But they do get dull like everything. Works well. Again they are pricey but for most part last a long time.

Bye-Bye Flat Blades
Would RecommendMy old flat blade had visible dulling on it, so I almost bought another one, and then saw these with their claim for faster drilling. Oh my, this style sure is faster! And it also allowed be to bore the 2x4s out a little so the rebar would fit better.

Did the trick
Would RecommendVery aggressive bit. Would not recommend if you are doing some sort of wooding where blowout may be a problem. Other than that it did the trick. I used this to drill holes in a 2x8 that I used to make a floating shelf. It had no problem drilling a 6 inch hole the depth of the board.
Slow drilling
Made a clean hole but drilled to slow
