What Customers Are Saying
The wood-boring spade bit set is praised for its quality, performance, and value. Customers report the bits are sharp, durable, and efficient at drilling through wood, with a threaded tip that makes starting holes easy. The blades are described as more aggressive, allowing the bits to "pull through the wood" with minimal effort and leave clean, smooth cuts. The wide range of sizes and convenient carrying case are also appreciated features.

Self-feed tip is a bad idea
Would Not RecommendThese self-feed tips are slightly less aggressive than the discontinued Kobalt bits, but they will pull the bit into the wood at a faster feed rate than is prudent. I've bent or broken most of mine. Will use for rough jobs until they're all gone.
Great value
Would RecommendGreat product. The soft case fits in your tool box with ease.

Fast cutting.
Would RecommendWork great in an impact driver or drill. Bad part is having to reverse the drill to clean out wood chips in a deep drilling application due to the screw head. These are much better than spyders, sawzall blades.
A great set to buy.
Would Recommendgreat set at a decent price.. Sturdy and remains sharp after continuous usage.

On line
Would RecommendOn line purchase was simple and easy. Going into store and trying to get help is almost impossible. Employee seem offended if you ask for help. If you asked for a manger they never show up.

The tips were warped and twisted.
Would Not RecommendThe tips were warped and twisted. I couldn't make a hole with the first one using a drill press, I had to return it. Wear another Dewalt and all work perfect. It may be that the ones sold in this store during the black friday sale were defective.
Fast boring
Would RecommendThese bits are awesome. They bite well and remove shavings quickly!
best spade bits
Would RecommendI've been using these for about 6 months now & they are legit. When used on my big drill they chew thru treated 6×6's like a hot knife thru butter. The threaded tip makes it real nice. They pull thru with very minimal effort.

Awesome Spade Bits
Would RecommendI picked up this set up over the weekend at Lowes in Paintsville, KY. I have to say if the rest of the bits in the kit work as well as the 5/8 I had to use I will be a happy camper. By far the best spade but i've ever used
