Simple, solid screw-on mounting.

Smart Box is rugged and easy to install when you need to add a box for "old work" jobs. Find a stud, cut the hole along side, fish your wire(s) through, and screw the box to the stud. A very solid mounting, unlike boxes with "ears" or some of those other flimsy choices.

Great size, easy to use.

Perfect for our project but the included screws are pretty cheap so we used better ones. Screws get a bit deep in the box, so an extension might help when using a cordless driver.

Decent box

I like that these boxes don't require a Romex connector. These types of boxes are good for dimmers, because they don't have a flange that causes the plate to stick out. However I think it's dumb how they have different inlets rated for different size wire. They should design them so they're all good for up to 10/2 cable.

Easy Peezy Box Replacement

Needed to replace box that bathroom light was using. Easy peezy with this box.

The angle installation makes it easier to install versus straight screw installations. The fit for the Smart box made it easy to slide through the drywall.

Great post construction electric box

This is a highly recommended electric box, that is perfect when the walls are already sheetrocked. I had to add an outlet, and it was a great solution. It’s sturdy and has the same results and strength as if it was installed before being sheetrocked. The screws are angled perfectly to go right into the stud, and their is plenty of room in the box.
