My home was wired in the late '30's-early -40's, then a subpanel box was added some time in the '50's for 230v. Would RecommendThis was what my electrician recommended to me for my metal building wiring project and it was exactly the right choice! I would recommend this product to anyone. I had a concern about pests such as rodents(rats) chewing on my wiring and this product eliminates that possibility. I previously had rats nesting in my old barn on many occasions. In fact my old barn was lost due to an electrical fire probably caused by rats chewing on the wiring! I no longer have to think about this issue.
