I'm rewiring my 1908 home a little at a time, and I choose Armorlite 12/2 MC Cable for most of my branch circuits. My home was wired in the late '30's-early -40's, then a subpanel box was added some time in the '50's for 230v. Of course the insulation is deteriorating, but even worse the old breakers are no longer available for my old Cutler-Hammer and Federal Pacific panels. Why Armorlite MC Cable? This was what my electrician recommended to me for my metal building wiring project and it was exactly the right choice! I would recommend this product to anyone. I had a concern about pests such as rodents(rats) chewing on my wiring and this product eliminates that possibility. I previously had rats nesting in my old barn on many occasions. In fact my old barn was lost due to an electrical fire probably caused by rats chewing on the wiring! I no longer have to think about this issue.

great product. bit expensive
great product but check around for better pricing. there's no need to buy the dedicated cutter. just bend the area all the way you want to cut and the armor will snap, pull the armor out a bit and snip the targeted area with a pair of pliers.

For some reason MC cable ends up being the one item with copper that you don’t have to chase down an employee to gain access to it. That officially make a MC cable my favorite cable to shop for 👍 Also never any issues with the product
