What Customers Are Saying

The metal litter scoop is generally considered a sturdy and effective tool for cleaning litter boxes, especially for households with multiple cats. Many reviewers praised its durability and ability to handle clumping litter well. However, some noted that the handle design could be improved, as the metal core does not extend fully through the rubber grip, making the handle feel somewhat floppy and less sturdy. Overall, the majority of reviewers are satisfied with the scoop's performance, but the handle design flaw is a significant drawback for some customers.

So phresh scoop

Would Not Recommend

I was thinking this scoop would be heavy duty but when you scoop it bends it will not hold up over time

Handle ruins the whole product!

Would Not Recommend

the scoop portion is made of a super sturdy metal, but it only goes up half the handle! you have to scoop holding right at the base of the scoop or it bends in half!

It gets the job done

Would Not Recommend

Solid scoop, but handle is very bendable, somewhat defeats the purpose of a heavy duty metal scooper

Don't like it

Would Not Recommend

I have to amend my previous review. After using it for a couple of months, I hate this scooper. The handle is so flexible, it's hard to scoop with and it hurts my wrist. I have to scoop gingerly because I'm afraid that the handle will break. Whoever designed this either knows nothing about having to scoop litter or purposely designed it badly, so that the customer would have to buy another one. Overpriced and badly designed.

Not fully metal.

Would Not Recommend

The floppy plastic handle negates the whole purpose of a heavy duty scoop.

A Must Have!

Would Recommend

This litter scoop is exactly what I was looking for. It is sturdy enough to scoop without it bending, but also light and easy to use. It can hold a good amount and is easier to clean than plastic ones.

Sturdy and has a soft handle.

Would Recommend

I doubt I will ever need to replace it. It is just what I was looking for

It's okay, but could be better.

Would Recommend

I like the way this scoops; it's big and gets everything easily, however, I don't like the way the handle sits at the same level as the scoop part. It would be a much better product if the handle was raised up higher than the scoop. The way it is now, the scoop and the handle rest at the same level and it's a little uncomfortable in the hand.

Absolute requirement for heavier clumping litter

Would Recommend

Had several plastic scoops but not sufficient for Oxocat's heaviest pellet litter, this one is, although for several reasons, I went down to their next heaviest litter. I hope it holds up. Only thing is that litter tends to stick to it and it's a mess and hard to clean.
