Ratcheting latch getting stuck
Would Not RecommendRatcheting latch kept sticking while tightening. I purchased several of these for a client event to tie down structures to concrete blocks. Each one required 2 people to tighten and took almost 15 minutes because the spring latch would stick open and not hold tension. After the first 3 sets failing like that I realized it was likely to happen to all of them and it did. Very disappointing that it needed maintenance right out of the box. Right now they are in a pile waiting for me to figure out ...

The ratchet is very strong and heavy, sturdy. What u didn’t like is that I thought it came with the straps and hooks. So I’ll be returning it.

Would Not RecommendThe ratchet portion is not very sturdy (directly comparable to other ratchets I have in the same dimensions and weight rating) and very quickly began to bow and twist, causing it to begin skipping teeth and not hold or ratchet reliably.
