Ratings & Reviews for SmartStraps 1-in x 14-ft Ratchet Strap with S-Hook 1500-lb Break Strength ( 4 -Pack )

I HAVE NOT HAD A CHANCE TO USE THE TIE DOWNS YET, BUT THEY CERTAINLY WILL LOOK GREAT ON MY AWNINGS FOR HURRICANE TIE DOWNS. THE CAMO LOOK IS AWESOME!

SmartStraps

It did a great job helping us get French Doors home from Lowe’s, Strong and sturdy. Like the packaging that it came in that I could repack them back in.

Great straps

The strap were great on holding and secure of items I use but very great on the elk hunting and use of them on securing gear and bulk animal carries

Saved the load!!

Bought a trailer load of supplies and realized that I had forgotten my ratchet straps. Bought these and they did the trick and saved the load.

Excellent Tiedowns, but...

These Racheting Tiedowns served their purpose well. We had to move a washer and dryer 300 miles in the back of a pickup truck. They secured the load and remained in place the entire trip without any loosening. The only drawback was adjusting the length of the straps, bypassing the ratchet. This really no different than any other Tiedowns. Overall, the product worked well and I will definitely use them again, when needed.

Good product

The ratchets work great, the straps are of good quality, and the hooks are strong. My only issue is with the length of the straps. I needed about another two feet for my ladder tree stand for proper installation. I made it work and worked fine. I would recommend this style of ratchet strap to anyone looking for a 1 inch ratchet strap. Don't forget to check the weight on what you are strapping down.

Ratcheting mechanism works well

The ratcheting mechanism on these seems to work better than most systems like these that I've bought before. With others Iit is a real challenge sometimes to get them to release so they can be lengthened. So far they are working well without having to lubricate them or polishing the slides which is a tedious task.

packaging and use

Very, Very, Hard to get out of packaging. Took over twenty minute in front of Lowes to get straps out of Packaging. Then no directions how to properly use them. But After thirty minutes in the rain I figured it out.

good and strong

good tiedowns but (at first) difficult to release after a couple of uses they semed to loosen up enough to unlatch with two fingers
