The SmartStraps CamoX Ratchet Tie Down is used to secure lighter loads often hauled in a pick-up truck or on a small trailer such as dirt bikes, ATVs or lawn tractors. Stronger and more user friendly than standard ratcheting tie downs thanks to SmartWeb™ technology which provides webbing that is stronger and more abrasion resistant than standard webbing. Features extra long webbing on attachment end for hard-to-reach anchor points and pre-threaded webbing that helps prevent accidentally feeding webbing from the wrong direction. The product features an open style, ergonomic flared handle for maximum leverage. Includes protective hex caps and soft tie loops to prevent scratching, and a convenient securing strap to make it easy to tie off excess webbing or to keep your straps bundled after use. The strap features precision gearing thanks to more teeth along the sprocket of the ratchet, allowing the tension to stay under control when securing loads. Included Zerust material acts as a rust-inhibitor to improve the longevity of the ratchet.

Great for securing lighter loads like dirt bikes, ATVs, and lawn mowers; or moving furniture and appliances
Break strength of 1,500 lb and safe working load of 500 lb.
Durable construction for optimal performance
Steel core coated S-hooks that won't scratch, rust, or mar
Open style, ergonomic flared handle for maximum leverage
Innovative, lightweight but extra sturdy and durable composite design performs in the toughest outdoor conditions
Includes 4, 14 ft CamoX ratchet tie down straps
High-strength and ultra durable thanks to SmartWeb™ technology
Packaged in our innovative, reusable EcoCase for easy storage

Worst ratchet straps I have ever bought

Would Not Recommend

The body somehow expanded so that the ratchet release gets stuck and they will not release. All four on the pack are doing this. They can get your load secured with the best of them, but you should have knife handy if you want it loose. Really bed design and build.

From smartstraps.com

Gotta have money to buy them.

They were long enough to strap two portolets to a tree when hurricane Ian came through.

Came bent out of the box. Unusable.

Would Not Recommend

The ratchet came bent in such a way that the pawl opposite the handle could not disengage. It was too wide for both sides of the pawl to rise up the curve and one would always slip down when opened. I had to cut it off after first use.

Camo Color Fades in Less than 6 Months

Would Not Recommend

Purchased these 6 months ago, at first was very happy as they seemed like a substantial strap and the camo color blended in nicely with the wood pile. Fast forward 6 months, and the camo has faded away, and the straps are nearing neon orange. See the picture, originally the straps matched the ratchet. The ratchet maintained its color, the fabric straps have not.

Response from SmartStraps Team

Unfortunately, Tie Downs are not made for constant outdoor use. The webbing is a fabric and all fabrics will fade when left in the elements.
