Straps worked fairly well.

Product was easy to use. Held the cargo in place. Only concern is how narrow the straps are. It puts the pressure in one spot verses a what a little wider strap would. Still was a good product.

Package/straps looked new but Ratchet showed decay

Ratchet metal showed decay (like it had been weather exposed) only seen that when the release would not work, the package & straps looked new. Had to return it.

Do not release when opened all the way.

Well designed, but when you open the racket all the way, where traditionally the tension is released, these do not. You have to lift the lock with your fingers and then walk the racket backwards with the handle. To release the tension on the strap. They do what they are intended for and thats why I’m giving them this rating, but given the choice again, I would not buy them.

Lock ring release defect

The unlock ring does not line up so it is very hard to release. I bought 2 sets at different times and both are made the same defect. Hope I can get a refund.

Works well for holding down equipment and furnishing in my box truck

Release mechanism does not work

These secured my load fine. But when I went to unload, the ratchet release mechanism didn't work. When fully opened to disengage the ratchet pawls, only one side of the ratchet catch engages the release ramps, so the ratchet stays locked and the strap won't freespool. The ratchet catch appears to be too narrow to engage the release ramps on both sides of the ratchet (or perhaps the housing is too wide?). I had to use a screwdriver to manually disengage the ratchet pawl.

Mechanical these are great, strap is light weight, a clip/hook on bungee cord tore right thru strap

Worth it

Perfect. Purchased these after buying a refrigerator AND a dishwasher.

1 time use

I have used ratchet straps my whole life. Towed cars for years. These will not release without using a tool or your finger to release. Even then....it's a challenge. Ended up cutting them. No directions...nothing on their website. Horrible.

Get Loose

I bought these as Lowes was near by and needed some tie downs fast. The straps are already inside the ratchet and there’s like a little Velcro so you can’t remove the strap, I ended up cutting it off. I used these to tie down some cardboard and they kept getting loose. I had to stop like 3 times and re-tighten them. I was driving on the street as well, imagine if I was on the freeway. It’s also pretty hard to undo them. I have a lot of tie downs so I know what I’m doing so do your self a favor a...

Junk

There's so much slop in the handle mechanism, the release won't work properly. In the picture, the ratchet is in the release mode. One side is released (blue circle), the other isn't (red circle).
