Would RecommendThis ratchet straps works great and it's reasonably priced. The length of the strap is a real selling point. If I could change one thing to make it better, I'd make the strap a little less flexible so it doesn't fold on itself when ratcheting.

Would RecommendUsed straps as substitute for a cable puller. Straps tended to pull sideways even though pulling dead straight. Would be ok for occasional personal use but probably would not be the best for long term commercial use.

Not as good as I thought
Would Not RecommendPurchased this strap to hold in place a large workbench that I was picking up at the store. Unfortunately it kept loosening up as we moved through town to our home and had to keep pulling over to resecure the strap. Would probably work better if it wasn't such a large item being secured.

OK, but strap not durable
I used this to strap my boat to the trailer. After one trip, the strap started tearing where it went over the edge of the gunnel. The strap is not very durable under abrasion.

Would Not RecommendNot a fan of the hooks. Would like more of a snap-link type to put my mind at ease. Used two of these to help tie down my jeep for a 700 mile transport across the south. The hooks came undone 50 miles into it. My older ones which have a closed gate hook on the ends lasted the entire trip.
