Would RecommendI've used these little pumps in small water features and birdbaths for 3 years. The first one I bought is still functioning just fine. This kit has a filter and several choices of spray heads that make it a great value for the money. I also use them in 5 gal Lowes buckets to make hydroponic growing set ups for my tomatoes. Easy to put together and maintain.

This pump/fountain is just what I expected.
Would RecommendNice fountain with great options for different water patterns. I would suggest investing in a big deep pot to maximize the fountain's benefits. Be patient with the putty to seal the extension chord hole to make it water-tight and you will have success. I'm going to by a second kit once I figure out where to put it. You could also make a fountain for a nice original gift.
First one blew the GFCI as soon as installed. Had to get another that worked ok.
not a bad pump
Would RecommendIt works as well as a 20 dollar pump will, if you use it for its purpose making a bucket fountain it works great, anything higher then 14 inches it loses water pressure. I used it for a bird bath fountain and it works just fine, only 16 inches tall so not much of a fountain but keeps the water moving.
adequate and affordable
Would RecommendI put mine in a half whiskey barrel. It works great. Raised at maximum height, the sound of water is loud and soothing:)
Clogs to easily
Would Not RecommendI've been through two of these in as many days. They both worked for a bout 30 seconds and then started making a loud hum. Also, the unit tends to float. You can't put a weight on it to hold it down as that will block the intake. I'll try one more time . . .
