MEAT CUTTING MADE EASY

I bought this as an alternative to a game or meat saw along with stainless steel blades it is compact lightweight and powerful I have it packaged separately from my wood/metal working saws which gave me the idea to do this cutting frozen meat or splitting a turkey seems like it will be so much easier

Incredible

This tool hit all marks for me from size, and power. It does all I need It to. I used It to cut up and old fence panel and also to cut up branches. I like It also because I can cut things with one hand and hold item with other. I purchased one before this, but It was so big I'd have to hold with both hands. I use the 4amp battery with this.

Impressive power, convenient weight, balance, feel

It might be a 5 star, but since I just bought it, I can't comment on the durability. So far, I am impressed with it's power. I bought it originally to cut bamboo from my garden which is about 2-3 inches in diameter by the time I harvest it. This bamboo actually bend the very sharp edges on my machete, but this tool handled it fine. Also cut 2x2x1/8 inch angle iron.

Sadness wrapped in disappointment

This tool is weak as water and should say fisher price on the side . It’s great if you don’t need a reciprocating saw but love to watch a short lived battery charge . It would also be a dandy paper weight .

A professionals opinion

I've been using this on small projects and it's done fine. I needed a battery powered one to use so I didn't have to pull out a drop cord and hook up the big saw just to make a single cut once in awhile. It's done fine on sheet metal and pipe . Being small and light is it's best advantage. I chose Skil because the quality has improved and the lower cost. Surprised !!!!!!!

I got this saw right before hurricane Laura smashed the gulf coast . It’s a good thing too . I had lots of fallen trees on my property. I used a chainsaw for the big stuff . But I really liked using this for limbs and branches . Way better than packing the heavy chainsaw around . The really hooks up with the material . Some reciprocating saws really hook up with the material others not that much . I liked it so much we use it on the job now .

My go to compact saw

Small/light enough to fit in my tool bag - it doesn't wear out my arm like my other reciprocating saw. I gave it five stars because the USB adapter on the battery is a nice bonus.

SKIL Tools a Man's Best Friend

Haven't used the Recip Saw BUT I have used the Impact and 1/2" drill. FANTASTIC

It has great power. I am a plumber and use it on a daily basis. It has no trouble cutting through any pipe that I use.
