Good power and adjustment
Would RecommendMy 20+ year old B&D jigsaw shaft started slipping under load, so I started shopping around and found this jigsaw on sale, so I bought it. I was actually surprised when I got it home. I didn't realize how fancy jigsaws have become! I used it to notch out some crown molding, and it did the job easily. I feel like this jigsaw will last every bit as long as my old jigsaw. I'm happy with it.

Good saw for the money
Would RecommendWorks very well for the price. The light and the dust blower are nice features. One thing I need to look closer at is whether this is making truly vertical cuts when the foot is at 90 degrees. Cursory visual inspection made it look like the cuts weren't staying vertical.

Can't cut straight with straight edge guide
Would Not RecommendOK except shoe is not parallel to blade. No instructions in manual about how to adjust. I used a very good clamp on edge guide and the saw tracked off by 1/8" in 24 inches of cut. Can't find any instructions for adjustment in manual. This adjustment should be a part of design or otherwise the tool is faulty.
