Strong Lightweight Plates
Would RecommendThese are an upgrade over the staple type plates for certain applications. If you use them right they are a strong option. The size is awkward and slightly too long in my opinion. I purchased them to hang vertical supports from my joists. Traditionally I have used wood plates with construction adhesive, but these saved me a few tubes of adhesive and add strength while allowing some flex.
