What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these mending plates for their strength and reliability in joining wood pieces securely, with most reporting they hold better than nails and perform exactly as needed for structural reinforcement. Many appreciate the sharp prongs that allow easy hammering into standard lumber like 2x4s and 2x6s. Several note difficulty driving them into dense or pressure-treated wood, requiring a heavy hammer and solid surface. A few mention minor quality concerns, but overall, reviewers consider them highly effective and dependable for reinforcing wood joints.

Strong and easy to use
Would RecommendProduct was strong, durable and easy to use. Made connection of Timbers easy and convenient.
Hammering these in can be tricky.
Would RecommendWorks well does the job. But…beware- depending on what you build and what you apply these to, it can be hard to almost impossible. Definitely won’t go easily into hard wood like yellow pine. In general, a hydraulic press would be best I believe.

The heavier the hammer the better.
Would RecommendIt was harder to hammer in than I anticipated. You need to be hammering on a really solid surface; there can't be any gift or bounce at all.
