Would Not RecommendI was using deck screws instead of nails, the screw heads pushed the board away from the bracket. I did not have nails, so I had to hammer the board into the screw heads to get a tighter fit.

Sturdy and hidden for edge of deck.
Would RecommendI needed this for the edge of a deck and looks much better than the ones with outer nail holes, especially along the edge of the deck. It still feels very sturdy though and I would recommend it.
