Metal Brace Hangers
Would RecommendOutstanding bracket. I use them for 2x4 cross braces on fence posts. Much better than those cheap aluminum or steel brackets. Better options for screwing or nailing.

Alternate use
Would RecommendStrong and versatile. I did not need them for their intended use but they worked quite well as anchors to secure 2x12 fascia that was falling off. After drilling 2 extra holes in them they were perfect for my application.
