Would RecommendThey work great, I built a 35' patio cover and hung the rafters with these. I was able to mount them to the ledger and then hang the rafter in then and set the other end on the header. Then I put the screws in the hanger securing the rafter to the ledger and then bend the bottom to match the angle of my rafter and put in the bottom screw. It was so easy. They are very solid and strong.

Would Recommendit served the purpose of why I bought it, too give some reenforcement to two rafters that are supporting a porch bed swing. The bottom of the bracket needed to be tweaked to fit, I just put it in my bench vise and slightly bend it too fit
