What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise these post anchors for their heavy-duty construction, rock-solid stability, and ability to prevent rot by elevating posts off concrete. The ZMAX coating resists corrosion effectively, and the pre-drilled holes with split-side design allow easy alignment during installation. Most reviewers highlight durability and code compliance as key strengths, calling them the best choice for decks and outdoor structures. A few mention needing additional washers or note alignment requires patience, but these minor concerns barely diminish the strong consensus that performance justifies the investment for critical structural applications.

Post will lean

Would Not Recommend

Do not attach a fence to posts anchored with these anchors. They will lean in no time!

So far so good

I got these to build a pergola, and then tie that into a fence, around my existing in-ground pool deck. These are holding strong. They need a 1/2" anchor bolt, but also have 2 holes for smaller screw-type anchors for extra security. They attach to the 4x4 with 3 screws on each side. The result seems quite solid. I'll update this review when I finish the build.

Works Fine, Time will Tell.

I used to anchor 4x4 posts to existing concrete. I hope the coating does not fail in 10 years, resulting in corrosion.

Be careful with the wait you use with it.

I don't think it is stable or strong enough for a second story deck. However, on a ground level deck or fence posts it should work fine.
