We love our trashcan. I can't say anything negative about it. We use the big compartment for the trash and the small one - for recycling. We are a family of four and that works better for us.

Some things I like, one I don't...
Overall it's a good trash can. I think I'm probably out of my mind for paying that much for a trash can, but we'll see if the warranty makes it worthwhile. FYI, I paid a third of the cost for one that had an electric lid, that still worked after 4 years, but for whatever reason my husband had trouble getting it to open for him. the trash container is too small for us. an equal size between recycle and trash would have been better. however, selling different size trash bags was probably the motivation.

Love the Dual compartments
This can fits right in to my newly remodeled kitchen. I love it. My husband loves the wheels on it since he always drags the garbage over to kitchen sink when he's cutting up food. If I had to say one bad thing about it, it would be the steel on the can by the pedal is flimsy and I could see this getting dented easily.

I can't believe I have strong feelings about a trash bin but here we are.bI wanted a sleek looking dual compartment bin and that's what I got! The bins come out easily and it opens and closes quietly. It looks great in my kitchen and I'd buy it again.

Inner compartments are smaller then expected - overall appearance and height is good
Not really thrilled with this can. It's way smaller then I expected so we switched using the left for trash and right side for recycle. Now right side is too small for recycling. Overall the can is just so small for either. At this point wish I could return and get a different size.

Really? I live my trash can!?
Ok I am weird- I snapped a picture of my trash can and sent it to the kitchen designer that just finished up our project. Fits in so well with my European style kitchen. One big surprise- holds SO much more than I thought it would.You will not go wrong with this choice and go ahead and get the liners. Keeps everything tidy looking!

Great Purchase
We love our new Simplehuman can! It has a great smudge free finish and is easy to open, close, or remain open. Also loving the recycle aspect and that the recycle side is larger than the garbage side!!!

Love this design!! Sleek and stylish with no finger prints!
Love the size of this model, as our recycling takes up way more space than our garbage side. The color and stainless steel does not leave prints, and I have a toddler so that was aways an issue before. My only complaint is about the garbage bags, they are not very durable as one came apart while taking it out of the can. But other than that I love this dual model and would def recommend! Just plan on using off brand bags :) The close feature is also great, I prefer way better than the sensor one...
