Excellent product! Both Functional and attractive!

whi knew I needed luxury in a trashcan?

I spent more on this than I wanted to, but I am glad I did. It fits perfectly into a corner of my kitchen and takes care of my garbage removal needs, quietly. Liove it.

Perfect!

Our large Golden enjoyed clearing out smelly food wrappers from our under-the-counter trash can. We put it in the bathroom when we went out. But when he ‘ate’ the wrapping of a chicken breast while we were in the house and we worried about expensive surgery. Your step can saved the day!. It fits perfectly, closes quietly after we thwart him and holds lots! We’ve even received compliments on how handsome it is!

The idea is nice

I am so disappointed with the quality of this can. Maybe ours is defective, but it makes an annoying creaking noise as the lid closes. And it’s a drawn out noise because of the slow soft close. But perhaps more annoying is that the stopper which holds the lid open gets stuck all of the time. Like our lid is open 95% of the time! It’s even more annoying than the noise because our 1 year old thinks this is an open invitation to throw things away and/or take things out. I’m really hoping we can get...

Not as good as the first one

I had this can for years so when it broke I got the same one. The cover doors do not meet, there is a 3/8th inch gap when closede that lets odors into the room. The first one I had closed with little to no gap and kept the odors at bay.

My little butterfly

I love this little can. I fell backwards trying to get the bag out of the big can so my son suggested a smaller can. This one is so easy to use and the bags are smaller. I like how it opens, like a butterfly 🦋.

it's fine

it's not as sturdy feeling and the lid mechanism is not as sophisticated as on the newer models/squared designs. And I do wish this one came with a squared front instead of a rounded front.

Trash area

These cans are great, we have 5 of them for trash, recycling and dog food. They work wonderfully and look good. They are easy to keep clean.

Great looking, sturdy trash can

Love this 30 L butterfly opening step trash can. Easy to keep clean, fits regular tall kichen trash bags - although if you want trash bags that fit it perfectly, Simple Human sells their own custom-fit bags. Looks beautiful in my kitchen and fits easily at the end of the counter, so the trash can is no longer relegated to the back hall. It's so nice looking and convenient that I bought a second one for the playroom. Wonderful product!

Poor size selection

This product took up less space than the model. I replaced, (40L) but was still too large for of a capacity, then I needed.

The perfect can does exist!

I never realized how much a nice looking kitchen trash can would elevate the space until getting this simplehuman. The size is perfect for the space by the end of our counter and more than enough room for our house of 2’s waste. Love the soft close feature and ability to keep it open while you cook. I’ve already recommended it to multiple friends!

We love the butterfly step can in the 30 L size. The volume is great for the small space it takes.

Beautifully engineered

When you think how often you reach for the garbage can every day, it’s lovely to have some thing that works well and looks nice in the kitchen. We don’t have enough room for a trashcan under the sink, so to have this out and looking good and working well is great!

Best trash can around!

This is the second time I have purchased this item. I love these cans. Quiet, sleek, and highly efficient. Which certainly recommend
