We love the Simplehuman compost bin. So sleek looking and easy to use. It just isn’t big enough for us. Would like it twice as big. The brochure it came with showed one but I couldn’t find it anywhere online.

Weak hinge

the hinge is very vulnerable to breaking, and is held to ring with cheap plastic that breaks off, this is a replacement, the vulnerable hinge should be made from metal!

So handy and goes perfectly

So handy and goes perfectly with my Simple Human trash and recycling bin!

A great Kitchen Addition

My only complaint would be its size, since for a family our size we can fill it up after a meal if we are using it properly, but having it right next to the kitchen trash makes it a million times easier to use. Highly recommend the z compostable bags as they can also be composted in your backyard compost if you have one!

I love this item. It makes it so simple to recycle compostable kitchen scraps and food waste. It conveniently hangs off our trash can. Now that the produce bags are biodegradable, I can use them too in this caddy. The lid did detach after 1-1/2 years, but was quickly replaced under Warenty! I highly reconnect recommend. Thank you.

Very nice

I don't like the bags that come with the caddy. They are terrible and leak. I lined the inside with aluminum foil to keep the bag from leaking onto the inside of the can. No gnats very tightly sealed

Love the actual product: bags not so much

The product is great! Just what I wanted and fits perfectly in my kitchen. Included was a package of fitted simple human branded compost bags. The bags (perhaps I got a bad/old batch) are worthless. They tear way too easily. I sourced an alternative bag and am happily composting away!

Perfect

I didn't realize what I was missing out on. It looks good on the countertop, which is a convenient place for a compost caddy. The bags fit securely, which makes it as less gross as can be. Very happy with the purchase.

This is very small and like many of their products you need to keep buying their stuff

Very handy!

The caddy keeps a secure lid on scraps I formerly threw in the trash! Now they will be composted by my city collection process. Easy!

It is not air-tight and has quickly become a breeding ground for gnats and fruit flies

The container bottom fell off. Please advise how to fix. The unit is unusable till fixed.

Good choice

This is a nice size. I bought it in white and it looks nice on the counter. Love that the lid stays up if you want it to. It has a nice seal but unfortunately does not keep the ants out.
