Nice design, quality construction

I like the way this looks on counter (though we plan to install under sink eventually). Also love how magnets make lid stay up when necessary. Very clever design as usual for simple human!

Compost caddy

This compose bucket looked like a serious pain in the neck to clean. Far too many edges, layers and hard to get to parts. We returned it it before even using it.

Disappointed

I love my simple human trash bins. Especially because the letter coded bags fit snuggle across the top of the bin and don’t slide down into the canister. Unfortunately this feature is not true of the biodegradable bags provided. They are oversized for the top of the bin, do not fit snuggly’ and are difficult to position in a way that doesn’t slip or protrude outside the bin. Fix the bags to perform as a regular simple human trash bin. s bags do, and then the review will improve

Compact compost caddy

I wish it was larger, like the box it comes in. I have placed it in the front instead of the side for easier access. I do like how the lid is magnetic.

This is a really great addition to the kitchen. As is the power soap dispenser! Both are high quality… Clean lines and great style!

Easy Access and very convenient

Super easy to open and u can leave it open if u want. Its also really to set up on a trash can, and out of the way.

Great compost caddy

This compost caddy is great! With or without bags. The composting bags do compost. They do breakdown in the compost pile which is a plus. I like that this caddy can stand alone on the counter or be attached to the waste can. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is due to the fact that the cover, when closed is not a tight seal. Therefore, fruit flies. Not many but enough to be a little annoyed. The inner plastic liner is washable. And because I am frugal, if the compost bag hasn’t starte...

Great for Kitchen/Cooking Garbage

I can't live without this caddy. No odors emanate from it. It is lightweight and easy to move around in the kitchen. If you line it with a plastic bag, it's easy to tie off and throw away the contents once it's full. (If I could compost where I live, I would dispose of the contents that way. ) I love this caddy so much that I bought a second one when the hinges failed on the first one. Surprisingly easy and fits into my kitchen workflow

When mounted as a sidecar, the magnetic lid holder is terrific. During large cooking efforts, moving it to the counter or the sink is easy and quick. This is an all-around helpful solution they way a can on my counter or under the sink never was.

Very nice compost bin.

This replaced our old plastic one after several years and we're very happy with it. We found that the compostable bags we were using also fit this model, so that was a plus, too.

Love the compost caddy. . The only suggestion I would make is to make it larger. We have the double trash container(one for recycle and the other side for trash). We could use a larger compost caddy. We do like the one we bought. We have been very pleased dealing with simplehuman.
